You better believe it – the housing market is back. It’s time to buy again, and here are the 10 cities with the most affordable homes, according to a new report from Deutsche Bank. Orlando real estate is right there, and no wonder with prices a fraction of what they were 5 years ago.

MetroWest Easter Egg Hunt

MetroWest Orlando continued to promote its community sprit this weekend with its annual easter egg hunt.
Local kids ran around the local park (aka the roundabout) with their little bags scooping up the prizes. Weather was perfect - and a good time was had by all!
The Isles of MetroWest consist of about 3 single family home communities and are located behind the MetroWest public golf course. Most of the residents of Metro West don’t even know these tight-knit neighborhoods exist at the end of the Westpointe Boulevard cul-de-sac, and those of us that live there are happy to keep it that way!

MetroWest Gets Real Cameras

After the fake camera debacle with developer Kevin Azzouz, it’s good to know that per our last Metro West blog update, Orlando’s MetroWest now has real cameras operating in the sub division, thanks to the partnership between the City of Orlando Police Department and the Master Association of Metro West. The IRIS program has now installed cameras in nine entrance locations to Metro West and you can see more info courtesy of Channel 9.
In other news:
- The Isles at MetroWest will have it’s annual election on April 13 2011. There are three vacancies to be filled.
- The security camera housing which was crashed into last month is being repaired courtesy of the accused driver’s insurance.
- The next community garage sale will be on April 30th 2011.
